I would like to highlight a GridLine based on a Labelled item when I have implemented skip in the HTML Chart.
Essentially, I have a series of days and would like to step the labels on a weekly basis. At each step I would like to highlight the GridLine associated with the label.
Label position dynamic. I'm currently using "InsideBase", but if those values are so small it's not very visible, so i'd like place those on the outside end.
If RadGrid has UseStaticHeaders enabled, different HTML Tables are rendered and instructing JAWS to read the tables one by one will also read the Header. It would say Header with "n" number of columns and one rows, since the table has only one row and that is containing the Column Names.
It would be great, if the grid with Static Header could be made in a way that JAWS will only treat the grid as one Table instead of two separate tables.
Would like to show column grouping for a few columns in the RaddGantt.
Also, would like to add to the query, how can I have the Gantt chart with the dates shown vertically as in the image attached. I don't want the Week or Month name coming in the grouping. Just dates in the timeline view.
Please refer to the ticket for more details.
i would love to have a n option to set the Gallerry to keep the title and text visible when the Gallery is in play mode, until the user pause the gallery or move the mouse out.
a work around was provided to me by Attila, which works fine, but i think it should be a built in property.
Thanks a lot,
I use the RadContextMenu control (ajax). When I right-click a control to show the menu, the OnClientShowing or On ClientItemClicked events are fired.
Within this, I can get the html element that has been clicked, but what I really need is a reference to the actual control that was clicked. For example, I have a checkbox on my page and the user can right-click the text on the checkbox, OR the check-box itself. This makes it really tough to determine what the actual control was that was clicked (in this case, the RadCheckBox).
I thought it would be a cool idea to be able to get this control as part of the args for the event.
I'm working on a project where I use RadScheduler TimeLineView (Grouping by resource) and one of the requirements is that they need the appointments that share a single resource to appear on the same row, instead of the current behaviour where they show on multiple rows. I believe adding that feature to the scheduler would give a lot of flexibility in such situations. Thank you very much
I am using the "PostbackTriggers" property of the Upload control, as described on your web site article "How to Persist Uploaded Files". This works well for the situation where I need a postback on a control, but that control is not a "submit" control. The problem comes when I use one of the "submit" controls (listed in the PostbackTriggers property), but a server side validation error occurs, and the form data (including uploaded files) is NOT saved to the DB. (This is a type of validation that can only be done on the server side.) In that case, the upload control loses the uploaded file information. Thus two questions: 1. Is there a way on the server side to tell the control that an error has occurred, and to continue to persist the uploaded file information? 2. Is there a way for the upload control to ALWAYS persist the uploaded file information until told on the server side that I have extracted the information I need from it?

I would be nice to gain more control over radasyncupload's upload behavior when using database as storage for uploaded files. Consider this use case. You have file management web-app that uses SQL database as storage for uploaded files. In SQL database you use Filestream enabled table to store the uploaded file data. You like to allow your app users to upload multiple big files > 100 Mt at once. And you have limited disc space on your web server hosting your app. So you don't want to buffer those uploaded files on your web server in any point of the upload process. To be able to do so radasyncupload needs to be able to stream uploaded files to the SQL database as straight as possible. Chunk by chunk. radasyncupload already has feature that allows you to use your own generic handler to handle some of the upload process. It just needs expose some of those events that happens before process-event (maybe ProcessRequest?). So developer can start handling the HttpPostedFile's InputStream at the begining of the upload and stream it directly to the database. Like one can do with the regular upload controls like so: Public Sub ProcessRequest(ByVal context As HttpContext) Implements IHttpHandler.ProcessRequest Dim hpf As HttpPostedFile For i = 0 To context.Request.Files.Count - 1 hpf = context.Request.Files.Item(i) ... Using Command As SqlCommand = New SqlCommand(String.Concat("INSERT INTO Dokuments(DokumData...) values (@DokumData...)"), connection) 'Other params Command.Parameters.Add("@DokumData", SqlDbType.Binary, -1).Value = hpf.InputStream connection.Open() Command.ExecuteScalar() connection.Close() Next End Sub
