Is Reporting Section 508 compliant
If the controls and PDF generated from Designer or API from scratch will be 508 compliant? PDF needs to be tagged, so when a reader reads its images have text alternative for it to read.

In R2 2019 we introduced the PDF accessibility feature. You can check the relevant documentation section here. There is also a blog post on the subject: Create Accessible PDF Documents with Telerik Reporting.

Update:
In Telerik Reporting R3 2017 (version 11.2.17.913) we introduced Web report preview accessibility affecting both the viewer controls and the report content. In Telerik Reporting R1 2018 (version 12.0.18.117) we introduced WinForms and WPF Viewers Accessibility. Please find the release notes at https://www.telerik.com/support/whats-new/reporting/release-history
Still, we need to improve the generated PDF accessibility.

Big chunk of the industry work with US Government, and Section 508 accessibility is a requirement. It impacts the decision of selecting which tool set to use. This will be a huge boost to Telerik and beneficial for US Contractors.
