VSTS builds: Link test results to test case

It would be useful if the test results could be related to the test cases in a test plan.

Schedule test list: Email settings Persist for the project

Schedule test list: Email settings Persist for the project. Currently you must fill out the attachment type, who the email is sent to, title, ect. Currently If you close out of the project these are lost. If you are in a project and do not close the project, it retains the settings. this should persist through the project.

UI issue - hidden dropdown for element query type in the Find Expression builder

UI issue in "Find Element" window: If add additional filter item to an existing group, the dropdown seems hidden and nothing can be selected with keyboard.

"Application Identity" service enabled in Windows prevents Chrome to record and execute tests

Chrome cannot be started with the required by Test Studio arguments when the "Application Identity" service is enabled in Windows 10 and as a result cannot record or execute tests with Test Studio.

It will be beneficial to investigate the case on our end and identify if there is anything we could improve or at least document the known issue.

A workaround could be to either disable that service or to add an exception for Chrome in an AppLocker rule to exclude it from the respective GPO.

Getting a newly added code file (related to a test) automatically checks-out the test file

In a source controlled (TFS) project when a code file is added to an existing test from another user, getting the change checks out the test file.

Specific customer application stops navigating to the URL after few tests executed in a test list

Steps to reproduce:

1. Win7, Test Studio R2.630

2. Using the provided project run the test list.

3. At some point (usually the fourth test in list) the navigation step is not executed at all - browser hangs at the about blank page.

Find.All to support expressions that have a hierarchal dependency

If you try to locate a number of elements which are structurally related to a known element in the hierarchy and use the following code:
HtmlControl tablecontrol = Manager.ActiveBrowser.Find.ByXPath<HtmlControl>("//table[@class='tTable tTableStripes']");
HtmlFindExpression expression = new HtmlFindExpression("tagindex=td");
IList<Element> foundelements = tablecontrol.Find.AllByExpression(expression);

The code compiles without problems, but at runtime it throws the exception:
InnerException:
System.NotSupportedException: Find.All is currently not supported for expressions that have a hierarchal dependency

Add the option to compile the project for the execution with ArtOfTest Runner

It would be useful to have the functionality to build the project from command line.

JS Browsers//In record mode 'Locate in DOM' from Elements Context menu is not highlighting and locating the element in the DOM explorer

1. Execute the attached test to the second step against FF or Chrome

2. From Elements explorer choose the recorded element and try to locate it in the DOM tree.

Expected: The element to be located in the DOM explorer

Actual: No response from the DOM explorer.

If the above is performed in IE it works fine.

Details shared internally.

Customer specific angular app cannot be recorded with Chrome and FF

The custom website cannot be recorded and executed with Test Studio recorded against Chrome and FF. Even if the page is fully loaded it seems that ReadyState is not recognized.

As a workaround a pollyfill for IE can be implemented in order to run the application under IE and use this browser for recording and execution.
