Delete a category option under 'Feature Use', 'Feature Timing' and 'Feature Value'

I have many Categories listed under 'Feature Use', 'Feature Timing' and 'Feature Value' under 'Feature Reports'. I want to delete few of them as they are obsolete now. Is there any option for this? If not there, please provide one.

Code Location

I'm trying to organize my code on the platform in conjunction with a remote repository (git project hosted on visualstudio.com) and I'm trying to place the appbuilder project in a sub-folder so that the code is more in line with standard practices.

When I do that, the project fails to load on any appbuilder app (in-browser, windows beta, windows) but continues to work just fine in visual studio.

Could that be improved?

Add color themes for the AppBuilder clients

It would be awesome if there is available an option to change the color schema of app builder, like turn background to dark and things like that.

Prebuild Node Execution

I'd like to be able to build a Node script to have run before AppBuilder does it's build/run/simulate steps as a pre-build step.

Currently there is no way to extend the build process, and while I'm very proficient with CLI commands that I could manually run, many of our users would most likely just use the GUI's build/simulate command which currently would not run any Node commands, such as Gulp tasks or code-coverage testing.

I would love to be able to type in a command "node build" and set it as the pre-build script in my app. Since most developers are used to Node who do JS CLI, I think it would help the product out tremendously.

AppBuilder wont work with HTML5 Audio

Right now I have an app (hybrid) that I'm building on your platform, but now the HTML5 Audio element doesn't work in windows telerik AppBuilder and iOS AB app. A couple days ago was working perfectly fine, but not today. If I test my app using the web telerik platform (online version) using the emulator then works, but no with AppBuilder on Windows.

I contacted the support team, but they told that I am not a "pro" user. I already know that, BUT, I want to report an issue on your platform that affects me right now in my development.... so, I don't think that I need a "pro" account to report an issue.... I'm not asking for help on my project or something like that...

Hope someone fix this.

Ability to use short-lived or custom lifespan user access token

Adding short-lived access tokens or setting custom shorter lifespan of access tokens will ensure tighter security for apps that require it. Currently the access token lifespan is fixed and is long-lived. The alternative for developers now is to use the before events of the cloud code for data to add check whether the user should be logged out or not based on time since last activity.

Push Notification in Desktop Web Browser

Hello

Currently the Telerik Backend Services allow for push notifications to mobile devices. It would be nice to include a facility in the push notification engine where you can send notifications to a desktop web browser. So from one call you can also send notifications to a mobile device as well as desktop browser like you have in FaceBook, PushCrew, Twitter, etc. Basically register the user's desktop as a device under the Telerik Backend Services.

Regards,
Simon

Case-insensitive Username and Email fields in the user account

Currently the Username (and also Email) fields are case-sensitive. This means that “User1” and “user1” are different usernames. You may treat the values of these fields as case insensitive by always lowercasing the value stored in both of these fields when capturing the user input and in the beforeCreate event of the Business Logic for the Users type in the backend.

A good idea would be to allow developers a choice to use either case-sensitive or case-insensitive for the user account fields in question.
