Hello,

With R1 2021 release of Telerik UI for Xamarin, you can swipe inside the content to switch TabView tabs.
For more details please check the following link https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/xamarin/controls/tabview/tabview-key-features#swiping-inside-the-tabview-content

In addition, we have provided support for scrolling through the items in a TabView Header:  For more details check this link from our documentation: https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/xamarin/controls/tabview/tabview-scrolling-tabs

Didi

Hello Chris,

The status of this item is in development. If passing testing the feature will be included in R1 2021 release expected this month.

The feature will allow you to swipe through the TabView items, so you can change the selected tab.

Didi

We have a user requesting this functionality. They want the animation and swipe of the SlideView to navigate between tabs of the TabView.

Hi Oluwagbenga,

Thank you for your input. We will have your feedback in mind. Following the item, you will receive an email notification when there is an update on it. In the meantime, you can use the approach that my colleague Lance suggested  here https://www.telerik.com/forums/tabs-navigation#TyZuBdX3ykmipJrthAfM6A

Is this feature ever going to be implemented. 3 years down the line and yet ro be added.

Mobile apps in 2020 is all about gesture now. This is bad for customers and tour business also.

As a temporary solution until this feature is implemented, you can use a PanGestureRecognizer to detect a swipe and then programmatically make a selection.

See the following forum thread for a code example: https://www.telerik.com/forums/tabs-navigation#TyZuBdX3ykmipJrthAfM6A

Hello,

Please, excuse me for the late reply. We will consider implementing the behavior you are referring to as well. At this point, there are other items with higher priority which we are working on, so please follow the item in order to receive notifications when there is any progress on it.
If we receive more reports/requests from our customers for this feature, we will definitely make sure to increase its priority.

This would be a really nice feature to add but not just support for the header. It should allow a carousel style flow.
