Recording Silverlight applications in Firefox, Chrome and Safari browsers
Currently you can record Silverlight applications only in IE browser or Out-of-Browser. It would be good if you can record also in Firefox, Chrome and Safari browsers.

Hello,
This is not going to be implemented in Test Studio. Please look into the references below:
Silverlight is cross-browser by design:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb404700%28v=vs.95%29
Google deprecated Silverlight:
http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/news/2383624/google-will-kill-microsoft-silverlight-in-chrome-by-disabling-npapi-plug-in
Thanks for the understanding!

If you haven't done that already please contact the support team (submit a support ticket from your Telerik account) with details about the exact problem.
Thanks!

Hi Bhaskar,
You are talking about a problem in playback, not the recording in Chrome/FF request. We're working to address your particular problem in the support ticket so let's continue the discussion there.

Currently even if we record Silverlight Component in IE and execute that Web Test in a Firefox/Chrome it fails with error element not found.
Telerik should provide a mechanism for Firefox/Chrome so that web test which has Silverlight Component should identify the element and execute the web test without any error.
