Be able to add command line parameters when launching the browser
Sometimes customers want to be able to run their test with the browser launching in a special mode (e.g. incognito mode, custom/specific user profile, etc.). If the customer could add custom command line parameters to be used when launching the browser they could accomplish this.

Hello Don,

The conversation under this feature request evolved over time and there are few topics listed in this. As far as I understand you refer to the need of starting a browser in incognito mode so that you can force the SSO login to the tested page. If my understanding is correct, you should be able to facilitate this kind of user authentication for different accounts with clearing the browser cache at the beginning of each test.

I also wanted to add a follow up on one of the older messages listed in the thread in case anyone else is interested - using custom profile for Chrome and Edge is a supported scenario in latest versions of Test Studio.

If you have any further questions for specific scenario, you can submit a support ticket to continue the technical discussion. Thank you for your cooperation!

Regards,
Elena

Currently in a trial, it's disappointing that such a basic feature is unsupported nine years later ... We use SSO, so to test other users we have to use incognito and without this feature we can only test as the user logged in.

This may (will likely) affect my recommendation to purchase.

Hi Sébastien,

Thank you for your feedback. We currently don't have this on our roadmap, but we will evaluate and consider it.

Would you please give me a bit more details about the requirements here. Which parameters would you like to use and what is the use case? Thanks!

Best Regards,
Iliyan

You can't assume to have a finished and effective product if you don't have this kind of feature still missing...

Well done Telerik to ignore it since so many years.

Also allow us to remove the ones Telerik sets by default. Those may be affecting our tests.

We would really like to be able to use the -private command-line switch when testing with IE.

Please, (re-)consider this feature for an upcoming release!

This would be very handy for using a specifc Chrome profile:

A feature we badly need.

Customer has multiple versions of FF installed on one machine. He is using Sandboxie to launch them like this:
"C:\Program Files\Sandboxie\Start.exe" "d:\FirefoxTest_1\firefox.exe"
"C:\Program Files\Sandboxie\Start.exe" "d:\FirefoxTest_2\firefox.exe"

Can support for this scenario be added?

Taking a customer comment from the old PITS issue:

"There are other settings / operations like clear browser cache, maximize window, etc. that I would like to add - we currently do this in a custom extension, but that is difficult to manage."
