Data Validation
The feature is going to be included in the next official release Q1 2105.

Hi Cris,

The Data Validation feature is implemented in RadSpreadsheet and you can obtain the values from the database to use them in a list rule. More information on how to use the feature is available at http://docs.telerik.com/devtools/document-processing/libraries/radspreadprocessing/features/data-validation#list-rule.

This would make the spreadsheet component so much more useful.  Our users have always longed to 'just enter data like they do in a spreadsheet'. So we were excited to see Telerik adding Spreadsheets.

But all  our data entry involves the selection of established types or Units of Measure or US States . . . all of which are already in our databases.

I realize dropdowns are not yet supported radspreadsheet control. 
Appreciate if you can implement this feature soon.
