This issue cannot be fixed since once the validation in the grid fails, it tries to get the focus. The second grid, which validation fails too, also fights for the focus. However, there is no way for us to know how many instance of GridViewDataControl in the application there are.
It is up to the client to resolve the issue in the most appropriate way.
