hosts fail to redirect if uppercase is used

Trying to redirect using the Tools --> HOSTS... feature, but trying a domain that uses Uppercase in its name fails.

Then test using:
// Not working
curl --url --get --verbose --proxy
// Working
curl --url --get --verbose --proxy

Firefox 40 warns that the FiddlerHook extension installed by Fiddler is not signed, and from Firefox 42 onwards it will not even load it.

Please support higher density screens

Because of the density of my screen, I have to run at 200% scaling, making Fiddler which does not support this look terrible.

Transparent HTTP and HTTPS

Implement transparent proxy so that I can just point the router's gateway at the Fiddler system to enable Fiddler to see remote traffic without having to change client proxy settings. Sure, I can use mitmproxy or squid but I prefer the Windows + C# + .Net experience.

Could not load file or assembly

I'm having trouble running the Fiddler executable on a certain machine. This is a Terminal Server profile and therefore I'm wondering if it's permissions related. I've tried both the Fiddler2 and Fiddler4 installation, with uninstall/reinstall. I've tried running as administrator. The file referenced "Xceed.Zip.v5.4" is present as a dll in the folder.

I noticed that I didn't have a "Temporary ASP.NET Files" folder in Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727, so I created one manually, but that was just a long shot.

Any ideas?

show an "Are you Sure?" popup when closing fiddler and when pressing Ctrl+X to stop accidental deletion of work

As you can imaging, this just happened...

It's too easy to lose a lot of work with a careless click or keystroke.
Additionally, there can be an override in the Options.

Hi. I tried convert .pcap to .saz in my .NET application but I can't find methods to do it. Is it possible to do it with FiddlerCore?

TrustCert UX Flaws

At least Fiddler v4.5.1.0 on Windows 8.1 has a problem whereby the TrustCert Confirmation dialog which states: "please confirm that you wish to ADD the following certificate to your PC's Trusted Root List..." is not an actual confirmation as the DO_NOT_TRUST_FiddlerRoot is already installed into the trust store at that point. If you choose "no", the certificate remains in the trust store and the message "failed to add the root certificate to the Machine Root List" is not in fact accurate as the cert was in fact added.
