Fiddlerhook Extension for Firefox needs to be signed

Firefox 40 warns that the FiddlerHook extension installed by Fiddler is not signed, and from Firefox 42 onwards it will not even load it.

Fiddler's toolbar is very much cluttered. I suggest to break it up into several ToolStrip controls

Fiddler's toolbar is very cluttered and stuffed. Many of the commands therein I will never use frequently, and many of them don't convey status information. Others I'm missing.

So I propose to ...

- split the toolbar into a number of ToolStrip controls,
- add them to a ToolStripPanel and
- provide the ability to customize the toolbar.

Let color scheme be editable

It's very hard to track which of the Detail View's tabs is currently selected from the corner of the eye because they all are more or less white.

I would very much want the selected Detail View tab to be more prominent to the eye.

People's visual preferences differ, so I propose to provide a color settings configuration dialog, and the ability to save/load color schemes.

Torn off windows should be easily attachable by dragging them back to the Fiddler main window

After having torn off the Composer window it seems impossible to re-attach it to the Fiddler main window.

So I propose to be able to tear-off/re-attach the Composer window and the Details View by just dragging and dropping them inside or outside of the Fiddler main window.

Composer: When torn off, <ALT>+<TAB> should ignore the Composer window

When the Composer window is torn off, it behaves like a child window to the Fiddler main window in regard that it's impossible to give focus back to the Fiddler main window using <ALT>+<TAB>.

However, the Fiddler main window AND the Composer window both appear in the list of top level windows (displayed while holding down <ALT>+<TAB>).

So, either allow the Fiddler main window to get activated by pressing <ALT>+<TAB> or hide the Composer window from the list of top level windows.

Compose: Use syntax-highlighting feature and error checking for composing request body.

It would be nice to have syntax-highlighting and realtime syntax checks performed in the Composer request body input panel.

This would very much reduce debugging time.

Having above syntax check applied, it would be unnecessary to send a malformed request first, to receive an error result then and to analyze what caused the server to respond with an error message.

Either the request body format may be automatically recognized from the content-type header, or it may be automatically recognized from its content or there might be a dropdown to select a syntax checker manually from.

Composer: Add autocompletion to header keys and values

A strong improvement to Fiddler Composer would be to get autocompletion (aka. Intellisense) for header keys and header values.

An XML Schema file could be used by fiddler to determine which header items to suggest and to define their range of applicable values.

Script Editor Downloads Version Mismatch

The Fiddler product section of Telerik's website currently offers a download for the ScriptEditor installer on two separate pages, but only one of them offers the latest release. This can lead to an inspector load failure if the user somehow ends up with mismatching assemblies from both. (Not sure how, but I managed just that about a month or two back, which is when I noticed this) I've detailed the two download links below:

Add "range: bytes" header support

I set a file to be replaced with AutoResponder and then tried doing request with

Range: bytes=179200-

but it appears that Fiddler returns the whole file not the requested range.

If I disable auto responder then the file is requested from my nginx server which servers the file correctly. (only the bytes I requested)

Version: Fiddler Web Debugger (v4.4.5.9)
