ADD RadCloudUpload
With RadCloudUpload control the users will be able to upload files to Amazon S3 and Azure Blob storage. Also the developers could implement own storage providers and upload files to custom locations.

Hi guys,

The controls was released yesterday as part of the RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX Q3 2013 suite. You can download it from your Telerik accounts and find more information about it in the following blog post: http://blogs.telerik.com/blogs/13-10-16/media-and-cloud-capabilities-with-the-q3-2013-release-of-radcontrols-for-asp.net-ajax and live demo: http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/cloud-upload/examples/overview/defaultcs.aspx

Best regards,
Rumen

Hello guys,

Thank you for your feedback. For the first version of the control, it will upload files with the help of handler (due to cover all browsers and resolve some security issues). For the next releases we are going to introduce a client side module to upload directly with javascript.

Regards,
Peter

Just having standardized functionality such as authentication, returning public hyperlinks, large file chunk uploads would be leaps and bounds above anyone else.

I can't speak for others, but as for me, the ability to upload large files from the client is incredibly appealing, as described in the following article.
